FIRST OF ALL THE QUALITY

The main aim of all our production stages is to obtain nets of the best quality both in resistance and life time. The use of HDPE of the highest quality with its particular density and molecular distribution characteristics, the additivation with master batches of exclusive formula and the use of machinery, which utilizes the latest technology are a guarantee of safety and quality.
Moreover HELIOS makes regular checks on its raw materials, semi-finished and finished products by mechanical and chemical controls as well as by accelerated hardening tests to verify resistance, elongation and life time.

All this allows HELIOS to issue a certificate of analysis which indicates the high quality of its nets, amply exceeding the minimum conditions required by the current Italian law UNI-PLAST as well as issuing a guarantee certificate with several years’ validity.
FROM RAW MATERIAL TO FINAL PRODUCT

The raw material used by HELIOS is pure High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) of the best quality, which is an inert, non-polluting and recyclable plastic material. The High Density Polyethilene (HDPE) is heated and melted in order to obtain monofilament yarn which is then woven into nets.
Additives of our own exclusive formula are added to the HDPE and allow the monofilament to keep its mechanical characteristics for a long time and to resist the action of the atmospheric agents, in particular UV rays.
High resistance is essential for anti-hail nets since they carry considerable mechanical loads.
